Academic requirement
Eligibility to apply with NSC are,
- o Graduated from or studying in final term of Matthayom Suksa 6 (M.6) in Thailand secondary education system Except Native Thai or
- o Graduated from an international school in Thailand with high school certificate or equivalent or
- o Graduated from an overseas institution/have certificated in the list of secondary education equivalency system in Annex 1 Except 6. Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) and 7. Other Vocational School diploma and Higher education.
Remarks:
- 1. Applicants must review Annex 2A and Annex 2B for specific program requirements on educational level and CGPA.
- 2. Applicants who are “currently enrolled" must provide the official transcript and graduation certificate on the day of new student registration. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

Applicants must submit a Health certificate confirming that he/she is in good health, with no visual problems including severe color blindness. Also applicants must self-certify in their online application that he/she does not have other illnesses, symptoms, or disabilities which would be an obstacle to their study. Once applicants have been accepted into the program, there will be a complete health checkup according to items below; applicants will be disqualified if they do not meet any of the health requirements.
HEALTH QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be in good health, with no illnesses, symptoms, or disabilities that will obstruct their studies. Applicants with the following illnesses, symptoms, or disabilities are ineligible for admission:
- o Any disability that will obstruct their studies.
- o Severe psychiatric problems including psychotic disorders, autistic spectrum, mood disorders, severe neurotic disorders, personality disorders such as antisocial personality disorders or borderline personality disorders, or other psychiatric problems which are obstacles to study, practice, and work as a professional nurse.
- o Any contagious disease in the transmission phase which can be a danger to yourself, patients, or cause permanent disability which in turn will be an obstacle to study, practice, and work as a professional nurse.
- o Non-communicable diseases or disorders which are an obstacle to study including:
- 1) Uncontrolled epilepsy.
- 2) Severe heart disease which is an obstacle to study, practice, and work as a professional nurse.
- 3) Severe hypertension with permanent complications to any organ.
- 4) Chronic kidney disease.
- 5) Substance use disorder.
- 6) Visual problems including severe color blindness or having visual acuity in your good eye of less than 6/12 or 20/40 after correction.
- 7) Sensory neural hearing loss of a hearing threshold above 40 dB at 500-2,000 Hz.
- 8) Other diseases or disabilities in which the physical examination committee determines as an obstacle to study.

Remark
To qualify as a successful applicant, the applicant taking the CMU English Placement Test must score at least 60% of the total score.Admission Tracks
Regular Track
Applicants who do not meet the English proficiency requirements and do not have all required standard tests must choose “regular track” and take subject tests (CMU exam) and/or CMU-English Placement Test depending on the applied program.

Special Track
Applicants who meet the English proficiency requirements and have all required standard tests may choose the “Special Track” and must submit standardized tests in specific subjects and evidence of English Proficiency required by the applied program.

English Proficiency Qualification
- 1. Native English speakers (Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada (Except Quebec)) are exempt from the requirement.
- 2. Non-native English speakers
- 2.1 Exemption from the requirement under the following conditions:
- 1. who are from a country where English is an official language listed in Annex 2C.
- 2.2 No exemption must meet their English proficiency requirement based on the chosen program of study. The program-specific minimum scores for Standard English Language Certificates are listed in Annex 2D . Non-native English speakers who do not meet the required standard English proficiency must take the CMU English Placement Test.
